Who We Are

German Shepherd Rescue of Northern California (GSRNC) regularly adopts dogs to residents of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Placer, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, and Yolo Counties. We also consider, resources permitting, potential adopters in other northern California counties.

GSRNC regularly rescues dogs from shelters in Alameda, Contra Costa, Monterey, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, and Yolo Counties. We also consider, on a case-by case basis, dogs from shelters in Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Kern, Marin, Merced, Napa, Nevada, Placer, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Barbara.

Our educational outreach extends to anywhere in Northern California.
